NFL Free Agency starts on March 9th, and the next few days will feature several Arizona Cardinals rumors. While free agency doesn't officially start until Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday are "legal tampering" days. That means teams can discuss contracts with any player, although a deal can't be signed until Wednesday. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Cardinals.
Arizona Wants Bruce Irvin?
The Cardinals have a need for a pass rusher and they could be a surprise team in the Bruce Irvin race.

The Jaguars and Falcons have been connected to Irvin for much of the offseason and they have the cap space to sign him. The Cardinals are a little tight on money and might need to clear space to land Irvin.
Cardinals Shopping Calais Campbell?
DE Calais Campbell has been with the Cardinals since they took him in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. However, he might not be there long.
Word on the street is that former University of Miami DE Calais Campbell is being shopped.

Campbell is only 29 years old and has one year left on his contract. He'll make over $15 million this offseason. Campbell recorded five sacks last season, a decent number although it's his fewest since his rookie year. Kelly didn't elaborate on where Campbell could go. His contract is likely a big reason why the Cardinals could look to move him.
Drew Stanton Not Coming Back?
Stanton, the Cardinals backup QB is a free agent and he might not be back. An NFL source told the Arizona Republic that it's "not looking good for Drew to be a Cardinal next year." Stanton could be looking for a chance to start, something that won't happen unless Carson Palmer is injured. The only other QB on the roster is Matt Barkley, so the Cardinals could be in the market for a backup if Stanton leaves.
