BOONE, N.C. — Due to forecasts for inclement weather Friday, the Appalachian State University Yosef Club Golf Benefit at Jefferson Landing has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 12.
Steady rain showers throughout this week have affected course conditions, and a flash flood watch is in effect until Friday evening, as forecasts are calling for more rain over the next 48 hours.
Proceeds from the event, which is held annually in Jefferson, N.C., provide scholarship support to Appalachian State student-athletes.
