Yosef Club Enjoys Biggest Month in Three Years

BOONE, N.C. — The Yosef Club enjoyed its largest fundraising month in nearly three years in February, Appalachian State University senior associate athletics director Brian Tracy announced on Thursday.

Yosef Club members donated more in February than any single month since April 2013, which was the first full month after Appalachian State accepted its invitation to join the Sun Belt Conference and NCAA Division I FBS. Donations were buoyed by the open of 2016 football season ticket sales and increased excitement around Appalachian’s entire athletics program, including women’s indoor track and field winning the school’s first-ever Sun Belt championship and wrestling winning a share of the Southern Conference regular-season title and a victory over Indiana in the NWCA National Duals.
