BOONE, N.C. –Appalachian State University women’s cross country will return to action this Friday at High Point University’s VertCross Invitational in Kernersville, N.C. The women will compete on a 6k course at 5:15 p.m. following the men’s race.
“I am looking forward to seeing how we fare over 6000m.,” said head coach Michael Curcio. “ It’s the first time this season, and for many ladies, it’s the first time they are racing the NCAA Championship distance. We race 5000m at the Sun Belt Championships. This VerttCross meet is on a European style 2000m loop course, very spectator friendly.
