BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University women’s cross country will compete on a 5k course at the 3 Stripe Red-Shirt Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wake Med Soccer Complex located in Cary, N.C.
“We’re looking forward to giving our ladies an opportunity to compete and develop,” said head coach . “We raced seven at the Sun Belt Championships, but with 24 ladies on the team, this meet allows us to train the younger athletes to develop and follow the training pattern to peak at the end of the season. Most of our team is from North Carolina with many from the triangle area.
