BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University wrestling was invited to compete in the NWCA National Championship Duals Series after winning a share of the Southern Conference Title. The Mountaineers (11-4, 6-1 SoCon) will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take Indiana (6-6, 3-6 Big Ten). Match time is set for 1:00 p.m.
App State will cap its regular season with its first ever appearance in the NWCA National Championship Duals Series. The Mountaineers remain in the top 25 of the Intermat Wrestling poll at the No. 25 spot. Appalachian and Indiana both received votes in the USA Today/ NWCA poll with App state getting 14 votes and Indiana getting four.
