Appalachian State University wrestling will send four wrestlers to the 2016 Division I Wrestling Championship hosted at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The championship will take place March 17-19.
The Mountaineers (12-4, 6-1 SoCon) won the SoCon Championship with the help of three individual Champions in Michael Longo at 141 pounds, Nick Kee at 174 pounds, and Denzel Dejournette at heavyweight. All three champions recieved automatic bids into the tournament field.
The NCAA announced the at-large bids on Tuesday afternoon. Forrest Przybysz heard his name called as a 165 pound at-large selection.
