DURHAM, N.C. — For the second straight year, Appalachian State University took down Duke University, 25-11, at Card Gymnasium on Tuesday night.

The Mountaineers (10-2, 4-0 Southern Conference) used four bonus point victories on the night to overthrow the Blue Devils (2-4, 0-1 ACC) in their own gym, now having won 19 of their last 23 dual matches.

Starting off the night on the right foot for App State was Randall Diabe at 197 pounds. Diabe took on Luke Farinaro and battled neck and neck for much of the three periods before Diabe got the advantage takedown and won out the match, 3-1.
