NEW ORLEANS – App State forward Izzi Wood has earned second team All-Sun Belt Conference the league announced on Monday.
A native of Hickory, N.C., Wood enjoyed a career-year for the Mountaineers, scoring a personal-best seven goals on the season, while adding a career-high three assists – totaling 17 points for the Black & Gold. She is the first Mountaineer since Kat Greer in 2018 to collect All-Conference recognition.
Wood tested opposing goalkeepers early and often throughout the campaign, leading the Sun Belt with 78 shots and 33 shots on goal.
