JOHNSON CITY, TENN. - The Mountaineers snatched nine top-ten finishes and five qualified for the finals as Appalachian State University women’s track and field finalized action on day one of the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational Friday night.
After five qualifying rounds, three short sprinters and two hurdlers will represent the Black and Gold in the final rounds of the 60 meters, 200 meters and the 60-meter hurdles tomorrow, Feb. 4 at ETSU. Freshman LaBria King produced the two fastest 60-meter times of the day running 7.61 in the preliminaries and clocking 7.
