Zacarias advanced to the semifinal round in the B Draws, defeating her first two opponents in straight sets from Elon and Gardner-Webb, respectively.
The junior advanced to the next round with a come-from-behind three-set triumph over Bethany Lacey (Presbyterian). Zacarias fell in the semifinals to Michelle Ncube of ECU in a valiant three-set match, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.
