Women's Tennis to Play Two Matches in Two Days

BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women’s tennis (2-5) looks to snap a two-game slide to USC Upstate at the Yonahlahsee Tennis Club (0-9) before heading to Winston-Salem for a 4 p.m. match against No. 27 Wake Forest (10-2).

The Mountaineer are coming off a pair of setbacks last weekend against nationally-ranked division III Emory (6-1) on Satudary and a 5-2 setback on Sunday to Western Carolina.

Rebecca Morse was the lone student-athlete to earn a point on Friday as she picked up her first collegiate singles victory. After falling in the doubles portion to WCU, Mackenzie LaSure and Melissa Machado both picked up singles wins to give App State its only points of the contest.
