Women's Tennis Suffers 4-0 Decision to No. 43 USA

ATLANTA - Appalachian State University women’s tennis (6-12) suffered a 4-0 setback to No. 43 South Alabama (19-4) on Saturday in Clarkston, Ga.

The Jaguars were too much in taking both doubles matches while capturing the two singles matches they needed to clinch the victory.

Rebecca Morse and McKayla Zupan suffered a 6-0 defeat to Maria Cinta Papke and Laura Matuskova between a pair of No. 3’s. Taylor Bygrave and Megan Mullen was downed by Monica Mitta and Alina Zolotareva, 6-2, which gave the Jaguars the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead into singles play.
