ORLANDO, Fla. - After back-to-back losses last week, App State women's tennis bounced back and captured an impressive 6-1 win over Navy on the campus of United States Tennis Association (USTA).
The Mountaineers improve to 6-4 while handing the Mids just their fourth loss in 20 matches.
App State won the doubles point and claimed five of six singles matches for their second win away from home.
Selina Atay/Kate Earnhardt won their fourth match of the season after downing Casey Accola and Amanda Cyr in a convincing 6-0 triumph to get the Apps off to a solid beginning.
