Women's Tennis Falls on the Road to Troy

TROY, Ala. - Appalachian State University women’s tennis (4-9) dropped a 4-2 decision to Troy (10-4) Thursday morning at the Lunsford Tennis Complex in Troy, Ala.

Clare Cox and Heidi Swope were the two lone student-athletes to pick up points for Appalachian, as the two teammates notched singles victories.

The Trojans would take the two out of three doubles matches to capture the doubles point. The duo of Gabrielle Wreder and McKayla Zupan fell, 6-0, to Sanae Ohta/Nancy Karaky to give the hosts the first doubles match.
