TEMPE, Ariz. - Appalachian State University women's tennis was named ITA All-Academic while freshmen Sandra Anglesjö, Emily Gaskins and María José Zacarias were named Scholar-Athletes, The International Tennis Association announced.
It's the second time in school history (2008) that App State was named ITA All-Academic.
"This is a direct result of all the hard work our team puts into their academics," coach Mosley stated. "So proud of this squad's diligence in the classroom and on the court. We're looking forward to another great season!"
A total of 735 teams and 4,328 student-athletes across all five divisions of college tennis were honored.
