ATLANTA - App State women's tennis snapped its three-match skid with a 4-1 triumph over Georgia State on Saturday afternoon at the Lifetime Athletic Complex.
The Mountaineers improve to 4-8 overall and 3-3 in league action, while Georgia State falls to 2-14 and 0-7 in conference play.
App State won the doubles point followed by three singles victories en route to its first road win of the season.
Helena Jansen/Sandra Anglesjö topped Nansi Toskova/Denisa Gheorghe with a 6-1 triumph for their third straight win as the No. 2 tandem.
