ATLANTA - Appalachian State University women’s tennis (7-12) bounced back from yesterday’s loss with an impressive 4-2 win over archrival Georgia Southern (12-8).
The win for Appalachian is the first conference triumph of the season and snaps the Eagles’ three-match win streak in the process. Appalachian’s win was key as it was the final conference contest of the season.
It was a great win for the Mountaineers in a match that featured three singles matches that went three sets.
“This was a great bounce-back win for us,” said head coach Colin Crothers.
