Box Score 1 BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (6-4) split a pair of matches on Friday to end the week. The Mountaineers convincingly defeated North Carolina Central, 6-1, in the morning before suffering a 7-0 decision to No. 11 North Carolina State in the evening.
The Mountaineers ended the week with a 3-2 mark and is now 4-3 on the road this season.
After Friday, Heidi Swope is 8-2 in singles play while the six other Mountaineers boast at least three singles victories. Sandra Anglesjö and Teodora Sevo are a team-best 6-1 in doubles.
