BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's tennis (11-4, 5-0 SBC) battled to a thrilling 4-3 decision against Louisiana (6-10, 1-4 SBC) on Saturday afternoon at Cajun Courts.
App State is the lone undefeated team left in the Sun Belt during league action, while the Mountaineers are on a five-match win streak. In addition, App has matched last season's win total with five contests left in the regular season.
The match went back and forth, especially in singles with four of the matches going to a third set, three of which that went in the Apps' favor.
