Johnson City, Tenn. – App State women's soccer team fell to ETSU in a 2-0 deficit on Sunday evening at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
App State faced ETSU in two, 45-minute periods in the second exhibition match on the road.
The Mountaineers had two of its five shots on goal but couldn't get it through the posts.
The Black and Gold will look for the rebound win at UNC Asheville on Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. for the season opener.
