BOONE, N.C. -App State women's soccer snapped it's three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win against ULM Friday night at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.
The Mountaineers improve to 5-8-2 and 2-4-1 in the Sun Belt, while the Warhawks fall to 3-10-2 and 0-7 in Sun Belt play. Appalachian also maintains a 5-0-2 unbeaten record at home.
Appalachian came out strong with Kyndall Edwards rising high to score a header from the delivery of Kristin Brown. Brown doubled the lead less than seven minutes later with a free-kick from the left side of the penalty area in the upper-90, giving the senior goals in back-to-back games while it's the first time this season she has turned in a performance with at least one goal and one assist.
