MIRAMAR, Fla. — Appalachian State University women's golf completed the first round of the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Championship at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on the Raven Course. The Mountaineers shot 315 as a team and sit in seventh place going into Monday's second round.
Troy is looking for its third-straight title and lead the tournament at 300 followed by Texas State at 301 and Little Rock at 309.
Emily Stinson shot the low round of the day for App State with a 76. At four over par, Stinson sits in a tie for 12th place.
