SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- For the second straight race, Phylissa Greeley finished first overall and Appalachian State women's cross country claimed the team title at the USC Upstate Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Mountaineers finished with 23 points. Campbell was second with 66 points and Sun Belt foe Georgia State was third with 82 points.
App State posted three of the top-five finishers in the race and nine of the top-20 overall.
Greeley, who has already been named Sun Belt Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week twice this season, crossed first for the second consecutive race in 18:04.
