BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women’s basketball took part in the third annual Joy Prom hosted by the Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone on Saturday.
App State dressed up for the festive celebration that honors teens and adults with physical or developmental disabilities. The prom gives a chance for the teens to participate in the full-scale prom experience, as there were dancing, photo booths and pamper stations.
The women’s basketball team took part as it welcomed guests on the red carpet while making the experience for the teens exciting and also participated in the festivities.
