BOONE, N.C. — Walk-on tryouts for the Appalachian State football team will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 6 a.m. in the Sofield Family Indoor Practice Facility.
App State students interested in trying out must have all the required paperwork (a completed physical, a sickle cell blood test, proof of insurance) turned in via an email to director of player personnel Andrew Blaylock at blaylockac@appstate.edu by 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
If all of the paperwork is not turned in by then, the student will not be permitted to try out.
