TROY, Ala. –– Appalachian State University volleyball fell to 0-9 in five-set matches this season with a 3-2 (25-20, 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 13-15) loss at Troy on Friday evening.
The Mountaineers (3-20, 1-9 Sun Belt) finished with four student-athletes having tallied double-digit kills. Ashton Gregory led the way with 17, while Sloan Evans collected 13 and Emma Longley and Melissa McMath each notched 12 kills.
App State utilized two setters during the match. Ashlyn Brown tallied 32 assists, while Amanda Krahl finished with 25.
