BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University volleyball (6-10) will open up Sun Belt Conference play at home on Friday, Sept. 29 against Texas State (9-7) at 6:30 p.m. The Mountaineers will then take on UT Arlington (7-8) on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 12:30 p.m.

So far this season, the Mountaineers are 1-1 in SBC matches. Coming off of a win at Little Rock (3-2) and a loss at Arkansas State (2-3), the Mountaineers look to compete for two more wins this weekend.
Kara Spicer and Melissa McMath hit the top of the leaderboard in kills with 206 and 203 respectively.
