ARLINGTON, Texas –– Appalachian State University volleyball dropped its first match of the weekend to UT Arlington in a straight-set sweep (15-25, 11-25, 14-25) on Friday night.
The Mountaineers (2-14, 0-3 Sun Belt) fell for the 13th consecutive game. Leading the way was Courtney Sullivan who finished with a team-high eight kills. Ashlyn Brown collected a team-high 11 assists.
Defensively, Kennedy Wilson tallied a team-leading eight digs.
In the opening set, an 8-2 run by the Mavericks (9-9, 3-0 Sun Belt) opened things up and gave UT Arlington a 12-6 advantage.
