BOONE, N.C. –– Appalachian State University volleyball dropped its 11th-consecutive loss in a straight-set sweep at the hands of Arkansas State on Friday at Varsity Gym. The 11th-straight loss is the most for the program since the 2001 season.
The Mountaineers (2-12, 0-1 Sun Belt) were led by freshman Emma Longley who finished with a team-high six kills. Alana Shoff and Tierney Flaherty finished with five kills each.
Leading the offense was freshman setter Amanda Krahl who tallied 15 assists.
