THE SERIES
- This will be the 14th all-time meeting between the two schools, with the Tigers leading 11-2
- The two teams met in Boone last season during the Appalachian Invitational, with Clemson prevailing 3-2
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State (2-4) posted a 1-2 mark at the Duke Invitational on the weekend. The Mountaineers topped Wofford 3-0 and fell to UNC Wilmington 3-2 and Duke 3-0.
