TROY, ALA. – Appalachian State volleyball lost a close match to Troy on Friday, Nov. 10 (25-22, 17-25, 25-16, 21-25, 12-15).
Courtney Sullivan led the Mountaineers in kills with 13 while Emma Reilly topped the scoreboard in digs with 17. Ashlyn Brown had the most kills during tonight's match of either team with 40.
The Mountaineers were tough through the first set and started off with a win. Three service aces in a row for the Trojans helped App State pull ahead 15-11 and stay ahead for the remainder of the set.
