BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University volleyball head coach Matt Ginipro announced the hiring of Taylor Sherwin as an assistant coach on Friday.
“I’m very happy to add Taylor to our staff,” said Ginipro. “Her playing and coaching experience will be an excellent addition to our team. She was a setter in the toughest league in the country and led Ohio State to a Sweet 16 appearance her senior year, so she knows what it takes to succeed at a high level as a player. This past year, she was on the bench of a program that made it to the national semifinals and got to learn from a head coach who has won two Olympic medals.
