BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State's home baseball series against Coastal Carolina from May 17-19 will include two evening start times, as the Friday game will now begin at 6 p.m., just like the series-opening game a day earlier.
After a pair of 6 p.m. starts that Thursday and Friday, App State will conclude the regular season with a Saturday game at 1 p.m. against the first-place Chanticleers, who won the national championship in 2016. A special Graduation and Senior Day ceremony will be held before the first pitch on that Saturday.
Next weekend's series will be Coastal Carolina's first trip to Boone.
