SANDESTIN, Fla. - After a strong opening round Sunday, the putting greens were not as kind to Appalachian State during Monday's second round of the 2018 Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship, being held at The Raven Golf Club.
App State fell to a tie for eighth after a team round of 323 Monday, but the Mountaineers are still within reach of moving high up the leaderboard as only 17 strokes separate the 3-9 spots in the 11-team field.
"We really struggled with the flat stick today," head coach Heather Brown said. "Some four-putts and multiple three-putts really set us back.
