BOONE, N.C. — App State's award-winning football video department composed videos that have been chosen as finalists in three of the four categories for the annual SAVVY Awards presented by the Collegiate Sports Video Association.
Aside from the three finalists from a crew led by App State Director of Football Video Operations George Claiborne, Power Five schools account for eight of the nine other finalist entries. There are three candidates still standing in each of the four categories.
App State is represented in the finals for "Motivational" video (before the Sun Belt Championship Game), "Short Social" video (uniform reveal before the Georgia Southern game) and "Recruiting" video (midseason video).
