BOONE, N.C. - Maryah Sydnor, the former Appalachian State University women's basketball standout, culminated her stellar season by leading the Hørsholm 79ers to a Damefinalen PokalVinder Cup.
Sydnor played a pivotal role in the 79ers' 65-55 victory over SISU, netting a double-double with game highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds while dishing out five assists. Sydnor posted a staggering PER of 30, which was her second-most efficient outing of the season and a plus-15 in the plus/minus column. The 79ers captured their ninth gold cup in the organization's history and the second in the past four seasons.
