NEW ORLEANS - In support of Appalachian State University women’s basketball coach Angel Elderkin and her battle with endometrial cancer, the Sun Belt Conference will partner with the American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer for “Suits and Sneakers’ for the week of Jan. 28 to help raise awareness and bring in donations, as announced by the conference on Monday.
Teaming up with Coaches vs. Cancer, each school in the league will participate in the 2017 3-Point Challenge as for every trifecta made in the month of February, the schools will donate the funds to assist the American Cancer Society in their research and services.
