NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Sun Belt Conference has announced an updated conference schedule for the upcoming 2020-21 men's basketball season.
App State was still play 18 conference contests; however, the conference will now be broken down into divisional play. The Mountaineers will now only play Sun Belt East Division opponents in a Friday-Saturday format.
The Sun Belt slate will now tip on Jan. 1 as the Mountaineers welcome Troy to the Holmes Center. App State will also battle the Trojans in Boone on Jan. 2.
The Mountaineers continue play at home the following weekend, welcoming Georgia Southern to the High Country on Jan.
