SAN MARCOS, Texas - App State women's basketball completed the season sweep of Texas State with a 59-47 win on Saturday afternoon in the Strahan Center.
The Mountaineers improve to 7-14 (4-7 SBC) after their fourth straight win over the Bobcats, while TXST falls to 8-14 and 1-10 in league action.
App State put on a dominating display of defense, holding TXST to a season low in points and its second-worst performance shooting just 30.6 percent from the field. The Mountaineers forced the Bobcats to shoot a season-worst 11.8 percent from beyond the arc, going 2-of-17.
