BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State softball wraps up their 2018 season with a three-game series against Coastal Carolina on May 4-5. The series will begin with a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday and finish with a single game on Saturday, May 5 for Senior Day.
The Mountaineers are 16-33 on the season and 3-18 in the Sun Belt. Already, the Mountaineers have improved their overall record and conference record this season since joining the Sun Belt in the 2014 season. The Chanticleers are 24-27 overall and 7-16 in conference play, ranked ninth in the SBC right above the Mountaineers.
