BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State University softball is slated for a two-game series against the North Carolina A&T Aggies at the Lady Aggie Softball Complex in Greensboro, N.C. The first half of this series will be on Feb. 16 at 3:30 p.m., and the second half will take place on Feb. 22 at 3 p.m.
The Mountaineers wrapped-up their opening weekend at the Jacksonville River City Leadoff with an overall 1-3 record. On opening day, App slipped to the Jacksonville Dolphins in extra innings, 5-3, and on Saturday, the Apps fell to College of Charleston 12-2 and Jacksonville 4-0.
