Box Score MACON, GA. – Appalachian State softball split two on Saturday, Feb. 11 with a loss against Buffalo and a win against Morehead State to bring the record to 1-3 so far this season. The win against Morehead State was Head Coach Shelly Hoerner's first win at App State.

The Mountaineers had a big inning early in the game. In the second inning, Jenny Dodd sent a shot to the fence in left center for a single followed by a single from Haley Stewart on the right side.
