Satterfield Surges in Sporting News Rankings

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University football head coach Scott Satterfield came in at No. 52 in the Sporting News’ annual rankings of NCAA Division I FBS head coaches, which was released on Tuesday.

Satterfield, who is entering his fourth season as Appalachian State’s head coach, jumped from No. 103 in last year’s Sporting News rankings.
