NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Sun Belt Conference has announced that App State women's cross country runner Sarah Sandreuter has been tabbed as Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
This marks the first time in her career Sandreuter has earned the accolade.
On Friday at the Mountains to Sea Open, Sandreuter finished second overall in a field of 40 runners in a 5K PR time of 17:42.1. Her time bettered her previous PR by nearly a minute and helped lead the Mountaineers to the team title.
App State will compete again on Oct.
