CORALVILLE, Iowa — App State's Codi Russell and Will Formato both won two matches Saturday at the 2020 Senior Nationals, a USA Wrestling event held at the Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse.
Competing in the 57 kg division in the men's freestyle, Russell went 2-2 with an 11-0 tech fall against Dominick Serrano, a 10-0 loss to Jack Mueller, a 14-4 tech fall against Jackson Hennon and a 12-2 loss against Shelton Mack.
In the 74 kg division, Formato followed an 11-0 loss to Hayden Hidlay with a 10-0 tech fall against Andy Hurla and a 6-1 decision against Jack Nigro.
