It was a Senior Night to remember for the Mountaineers (8-3, 6-1 Sun Belt) as running back Marcus Cox became the school’s all-time leading rusher in a 42-17 win over UL Monroe(4-7, 3-4 Sun Belt) whose two game win streak was snapped.

Appalachian State is now 8-3 overall and 6-1 in the Sun Belt on the season.

Marcus Cox became Appalachian’s all-time leading rusher, a mark he stole in the fourth quarter, and scored his 49th, 50th and 51st career touchdowns.
