BOONE, N.C. – For the second time this season, Appalachian State senior Forrest Przybysz has been named the Southern Conference wrestler of the week.
The league office announced the winner Wednesday, three days after the 20th-ranked Przybysz (Jefferson, Ga.) earned a 10-4 decision at 174 pounds against Daniel Bullard from No. 6 NC State. It was only the second loss of the season for Bullard, who has dual victories against two other SoCon teams.
Przybysz improved to 4-1 in dual meets this year and 11-4 overall. He is 67-41 in his career.
Przybysz was also honored by the SoCon in mid-November, after he won by a 6-2 decision against Bloomsburg and opened the conference schedule with a pin against Davidson.
