NEW ORLEANS - App State women's basketball senior guard Pre Stanley was named the Sun Belt of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Stanley collects the award for the first time in her career after averaging 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and four assists in two wins over Charlotte and UNC Asheville last week.
The senior guard posted game highs in scoring in both contests while leading the Apps in scoring, assists and free-throw shooting. She scored 31 of her 45 total points in the second half, including 22 of those points in the fourth quarter.
