BOONE, N.C. - Recent App State women's basketball graduate Ashley Polacek will continue her playing career after signing with Cluj Napoca of the Liga Nationala League in Romania.
Polacek played two seasons for the Black and Gold after transferring from UCF going into the 2017-18 season. The floor general for the Mountaineers averaged 10.6 points per game, 3.9 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 66 career games. A staple in the backcourt, her 257 assists in two seasons were second in the Sun Belt while her 3.9 assists per game were fifth.
